Cookies We Do NOT Use
Departo does not use:
- Tracking or analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g. Facebook Pixel, Google Ads)
- Third-party social media tracking cookies
- Any cookies that profile you for marketing purposes
Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function, we do not display a cookie consent banner. Necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements under GDPR and ePrivacy regulations.
Session Cookies & Login
Our authentication session cookies are marked httpOnly and Secure, meaning they cannot be accessed by JavaScript and are only transmitted over HTTPS. This protects your account from cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
Stripe Payment Cookies
When you make a payment, Stripe sets cookies to detect fraudulent transactions and improve the security of the payment process. These cookies are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in to your Departo account. Payment processing may also be affected if Stripe cookies are blocked.
